There will be a demonstration against racism and discrimination on March 22 (organized by Comité 21 Maart). The demonstration will take place at Amsterdam’s Museumplein under the slogan “Together against racism and discrimination”.
The four demands are as follows:
- An action campaign against discrimination in education and labor should be created.
- There should be a follow up investigation by an independent research facility about the rapport of Amnesty International on ethnic profiling.
- The government should follow the decision of an European judge which states that every refugee should have the right to basic needs, such as food, clothes and shelter.
- The annual Sinterklaas parade should be Zwarte Piet-free.
Come to Amsterdam on March 22 and raise your voice!
