Our next Critical Film & Food Night will feature the acclaimed documentary ‘Reel Bad Arabs’. It reviews how Hollywood films systematically stereotype and dehumanize Arabs and Muslims.

Why are such stereotypes prevalent? How do they contribute to racism and Islamophobia? Is there a link between the depiction of Arabs in mainstream media and Western policy at home and in the Arab world?
